Summary : Developing a prototype integrating AI tools between interconnected job roles, resulting in demonstrable improvements in team efficiency.
Note, this is a passion project at the moment, and not for a specific client.
Challenges
Organisations recognise the potential of AI to increase organisational capacity. However, it is unclear how the different roles that make up teams within organisations can use AI in a harmonised manner. Most organisations that are upskilling their workforce in AI usage, have achieved only fragments of the ideal end state. Most employees are slow to adopt AI, and still others are only using it within a small subset of their tasks within the job function.
Approach
For the initial prototype, select only one or two roles. Next conduct an analysis of the roles to identify the standard tasks that could be in some way enhanced through the use of GenAI. Of these tasks, select the ones that would have a significant influence on role productivity.
This project will be conducted in an incremental fashion, with one or two tasks being optimised at a time. This allows for feedback and finetuning from pilot groups. In this way we are assured that the changes we propose are likely to be adopted, and do indeed add value to development teams.
Outcomes
Holistic approach to an issue as AI is used to reduce knowledge gaps and understand the full scope of the topic.
Fast use of AI as a respository of prompts is maintained within the team
Comprehensive outputs from the team as AI can be used in the critical reviewer role. Thereby ensuring the completeness of the work prior to publication/distribution externally or within the broader organisation.
